Featured Photographer: Carole-Anne Fooks. Documentary Travel Photography

Carole-Anne Fooks is a Documentary Travel Photographer based in Campbelltown Australia. Carole-Anne describes her work as dynamic, documentary and expressive Travel photography with interests in people, landscape, culture, architecture, ancient civilizations, nature and wildlife. Carole-Anne has travelled extensively to over 50 countries in all continents, from Antarctica to Iceland, and from Pagan to Peru. Strengths: composition, art/design.

Carole-Anne lists her interests as being turned on by the beauty of the world & attemptingt to capture diversity in the landscape. Carole-Anne has interests in Art & Design including photography, ethnography & contemporary crafts, also environmental & humanitarian issues. I have a concern for threatened species & have travelled to see some of these, most recently Mountain Gorillas. I am also interested in human rights issues & poverty, which are all too apparent in many countries, & try to reflect human dignity in my informal portraits.

Carole-Anne's passion for photography has been expressed through solo exhibitions of images, both photographic & used in conjunction with computer generated works, & as a vehicle for documentation and expression. Images have been used commercially in travel, advertising, as large scale prints, cafe wall mural (3m x 8m), web site designs, book illustrations. She prides herself on a professional relationship with clients wherever they are in the world. Qualifications: Dip Art. MA (Art Education)
