Kimberley Western Australia. A new set of stock photos by Tom Keating The last frontier as some call it. There is no doubt the Kimberley is vast and rugged and sparsely populated. Aboriginal culture is still very strong here despite the impact of pastoralism. Basically there are only two seasons, the 'wet' and the 'dry'. Monsoonal rains dump vast quantities of water across this north west corner of the continent during the Australian summer while cloudless skies dominate the winter months of May through September.
