Free range egg farm. A new set of stock photos by Julia Ott This is a free range egg farm. All the hens live in a locked shed at night but during the day they are free to wander around a green paddock full of feed. They can choose to go back into the shed at any time, either to lay an egg or rest. The hens are fiercely protected by well trained maremma dogs. These beautiful dogs keep an excellent eye out on the chooks and keep any enemies, like foxes away from the chooks. View more stock photography from Julia Ott here.
