Fort Frederick at RMC - Part of Kingston Fortifications. A new set of stock photos by Ernie Hunter Fort Frederick on the grounds of the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario, formerly the Kingston Royal Naval Dockyard.Originally an earthworks fort, it took part in repulsing an American naval attack November 12,1812.The stone Martello tower was built in 1846 during the Oregon boundary crisis between the United States and Britain.The Martello Tower is now the RMC museum and the grounds is a relaxed area for cadets.
