Featured Photographer: Jennifer Hynes. Australian Nature & Landscape Photography

Jennifer Hynes is a Australian Nature & Landscape Photographer based in Ballarat, Australia. Jennifer works as the owner of a beauty salon and does photography part time while she studies for her photography diploma. Jennifer takes photos in many locations including my home town of Ballarat, which has a wonderful lake and wetlands and historical buildings. Jennifer hase many images from her overseas trips both in Europe and the USA, and also in Australia.

Jennifer lists her interests as a love of photography and taking hundreds of photos of all sorts of subjects. I love taking photos of the wonderful landscapes that this world presents to us. I always look for interesting textures so I like to photograph trees with unusual bark or foliage. I do not restrict myself to these subjects though as I like to experiment and learn. Her other interests in life are playing the piano, music in general, foreign languages (particularly French which she has studied for many years) and lots of travel

Jennifer first bought a digital EOS Canon camera and became very interested in photography. She is studying for a photography diploma at present but prior to that she had mainly educated heself in the photography field by reading everything, studying the manuals, practice, experimenting and picking the brains of other friends who are professional photographers.
