<p>Queensland Sugar Mill.. A new collection of stock images from Fred Frith. This lightbox tries to show the operations of a Queensland Sugar Mill during the crushing process. Briefly this begins when cane arrives at the Weigh bridge Tippler. Cane then moves via the Cane Carrier to the Roller mills to be crushed. The juice is heated and on to the Clarifier and then to the Evaporation Station. Next sugar crystals are grown in the Vacuum Pan and the Centrifugals spin off the remaining juice...
