A new set of stock photos by Ernie Hunter A land grant from William Penn, the state founder, to miller John Herr, was the start of this historic location in Lancaster County PA. Herr built the 180 foot long double arched covered bridge next to his Grist mill on the Pequea Creek. The mill was built in 1738, the bridge in 1844.
